Anyone else's LO still on reflux meds?

Hunter still takes his prevacid every evening. We tried to wean him down to half a tablet at 6 months but that caused screaming. We quickly went back to the full dose. Now that he's 8 months, we're trying the half tablet again. Wish us luck!
