Who all is still breastfeeding? Are you supplementing at all? Do you ever get any questions about "still" breastfeeding, or when you plan to stop? How much longer do you plan to continue?

We are still going strong here! He's never had formula yet and I'm hoping that since we made it this long, he will never have to try it (i'll never have to buy it ). I have been getting a lot of comments from people (DH included ) about when I plan on stopping...I just politely let them know that breast milk or formula is babies main from of nutrition for the first 12 months, so I plan on breast feeding him that long. I might go even longer than a year but I really want to start TTC and I still haven't gotten my PPAF.

We are still BFing here, too. So far, no formula, but I can't promise that won't be the case until 12 months. My fight with the pump is raging, and i might be losing. I haven't pumped at night for the last several nights, and my day supply has been horrible. I need to get back on the fenugreek, pronto!

I wanted to be exclusive with the milk till 12 months, but if I have to suppliment here and there, so be it. I hope to at least do either a morning or night time BF session (or both) after 12 months. we will see...

Who all is still breastfeeding? We are still breastfeeding.
Are you supplementing at all? No we do not have a medical reason to supplement.
Do you ever get any questions about "still" breastfeeding, or when you plan to stop? WHO reccommends children breastfeed for at least two years, we will go as long as Orion wants. No I don't get any questions.
How much longer do you plan to continue? At least until two years. We do want to TTC but are waiting until my period comes back. It should come back even though I am still breastfeeding, it will take some time my moms didn't come back until 14 months pp but it did come back even while still breastfeeding. In my eyes the wait for it insures my body is fully ready to carry another baby.

We're still BFing, and I'm so grateful we've been able to keep at it this long! We'll go to a year unless Hunter breaks up with me.

Oddly enough, my gynecologist expressed surprise when I told him I was still BFing. Hoping he just thought Hunter was older than he is, but who knows.

Still BFing here. We do supplement a 4-6oz bottle of formula at night most nights. We will probably stop around 10 months. He likes formula just fine and he eats lots of solids, so I'm not worried about him lacking stuff when we stop. He's already showing a loss of interest. I can't get him to nurse for more than a few minutes at a time without getting distracted or wanting to play. DH wants me to stop because Sully's teeth are doing a number on my nipples. It's quite painful to nurse these days, especially since he freaks out if I try to use a shield.

Are you supplementing at all? We have some of those premade little bottles of formula that are for emergencies he (if I don't make it home in time) but very rarely used
Do you ever get any questions about "still" breastfeeding, or when you plan to stop? Our pediatrician was kinda shocked I still was (even though DD was til 14 months) because of how much Jake likes to chew and bite....
How much longer do you plan to continue? At least 12 months, then he can wean whenever he wants

We are still breastfeeding and we supplement one 4-6 oz bottle a day because my supply has really gone down after mastitis and running 40+ miles per week. We are going to wean around 1st birthday, mainly because I do not want to have to pump on vacation.

I am starting to get some questions about how long - mainly from my MIL who is ready for us to have another.

Still BFing here. He does get formula when I go to school because I can't pump that much. I don't have a set weaning date...

I started to supplement about a month ago due to both supply issues and his low weight. And that was it. He decided that he was done with the boob. I'm a little sad because a part of me misses it, but on the other hand it's a whole new world of freedom!

We are still breastfeeding, no supplementing here. I would like to introduce cow's milk at one and hope to at least wean her enough that she is only nursing when I am home. We shall see. I loathe the pump.

Still going fairly strong here. We had to start with one bottle in the afternoon about month 8 since I am working 3-6 everyday and pumping wasn't cutting it. So far, we haven't had to buy any formula, we are only on the second can of free stuff I had. I am going to try and continue until after the holidays and start weaning then. I haven't had any questions directly, but I know that certain people in my life want me to be done. I got my PPAF 5 months.

Still BFing here too. I am having a hard time pumping enough for her when I'm at work, but since she goes to bed so early, I've added an extra session at night before I go to bed, and so far that's keeping me caught up and even a bit ahead. No one has said anything to me (and probably no one thinks it's weird - most of my family and friends would definitely lean towards weaning closer to 2 years old).

We are! No supplementing, but Elah eats like a pro when it comes to table foods! My inlaws are the only ones who bug me about when I'm going to "finally stop nursing Elah". Drives me INSANE! I plan on nursing her until at least 18 months, however if I get pregnant before then, depending on if I get as sick as I did with E, then I'm not sure!

We're still breastfeeding here and we hopefully will continue til he's at least a year old, after that I don't know because I will be doing my full-time clinical rotation and all I have is a crappy manual pump. He's only had formula a handful of times.

I'm still pumping. The girls haven't had any formula since they were 5 months old. Thankfully I have the supply to feed them both adequately. I plan on going until the end of the year. I hate pumping, but I figure that I have gone this far so I am sticking with it.

Still going strong here. She gets formula maybe 1x a week, and DH will mix it with BM. Sometimes its hard (and partially because I am lazy) to pump enough for when I am at work.

She is getting weaned just after her 1st bday.
