how are you guys doing? I finally am used to my schedule and being away from the girls 40 hours a week. Most of you guys know I love my job! I miss them towards the end of the day. Especially when I get home and baby is already in bed (like last night!) I have a weird schedule....11am-8pm.

Anyways, how is everyone doing?

I don't think I count since I only work one day a week...

I love my one day, it's like my day off . I like it a lot better now that I can make it through a whole shift without having to pump. My boobs hurt pretty bad by the time I get home but Jax can fix that pretty quickly.

I know that if I worked another four days a week, I would have completely different feelings on the whole thing. I would miss Jax so much. I admire all of you full time working mamas!

I'm doing pretty well. DH usually brings Susie in at lunchtime since all my classes are done, and then he either takes her home again or she stays with me for office hours. I get less done when that happens, but it's nice to have her with me and only have to pump once. We even have the pack-n-play set up in an unused office so she can sleep there if it's time for her nap and she's not too excited. I'm very blessed. But I pump way less at work than she eats at home at that same time. Like I pump 3 ounces when she's eating 9. I don't know what the deal is with that

Things run like clockwork during the week and I feel like I am starring in Groundhog Day most of the time. lol. But I've been working since March. It is the same **** thing every day... wake up, feed the babes, pump, get dressed, wake up Olivia, head to daycare, be at work by 7. Then I work until 4:30 and it is... pick up the kiddos, bring them home, feed the babes, make dinner, wait for DH to get home, get the babes ready for bed, eat, pump, shower, go to bed. So it is the.same.thing.everyday.

Ditto on the groundhog day statement. It is hard, some days I just want to cry b/c I miss her so much. And then there are other days when I am glad to be away for a little while. All in all, it is hard.

I definitely miss the munchkin while I'm at work, especially now that she's more interactive and curious and fun. I've been back to work since the middle of February so I've had 8 months of the routine. I'm pretty sure that I would go nuts being a SAHM though, I am usually ready to go back to work come Monday.

Well i went back to work in early March so it has been really good. Although not really sure i can really complain i work from home full time so if i need a quick baby fix i just go out of my office and i can see her. it is especially nice right now being 21 weeks pregnant with #2 my commute is just walking up the stairs to my office in my bathrobe

I started my job last Tuesday and it was an easy week. Yesterday he got a fever and was so weak all I could think about was what to do today. I am allowed to work from home but since I am so new I was panicking about asking and had major anxiety about leaving him with my husband today (because mommy knows so much more than daddy lol). Thankfully he woke up happy and cool though! So far I am liking it in general. I like being able to eat lunch like a normal person again (the little things!), I think he is already learning to do so many more things, I appreciate the time with him so much more instead of being upset he isnt napping or wont play independently for a few minutes etc. I do miss him a lot but since I get to go downstairs to see him at lunch it really helps break the day up and feel like I am close to him if needed.

I am doing well balancing work and the boys. It has been crazy lately though. It has been so crazy busy at work. And of course it is pure craziness at home. I feel like I never have a second to myself. BUT I love my job! And although I miss my boys....it makes coming home to them that more special
