The past couple nights have been very rough for audrey. She goes to bed fine and wake 10 min later screaming bloody murder. you cant sooth her ,it takes me a half hr to get her to stop screaming. She has been cutting her top two teeth , so im not sure if thata why ? So you guys think maybe its a ear infection or something or is that normal for teething?

Thanks lady i

Have you tried giving her Tylenol/motrin? Derek acts like that when he is starting to cut new teeth. If that doesn't work, maybe take her to the pedi to check for an ear infection.

OOH. How long has this been going on? Derek went through a phase like that, it lasted a few weeks. Also, how long is she crying for? I finally decided to CIO with Derek, because I couldn't get him to stay asleep, and he ended up only crying for about 5 minutes. The longest it lasted was 8. I figured he decided to try and get me to go get him then said "psh. I'm tired." lol Also, is it to dark/to much light in her room?

Its wierd because it happens after shes already been asleep for a hour or two. Her cry sounds like shes in pain and shell cry to the puke point if i dont take her out. Its been going on about a week. Once i get her settled and back to sleeo , shell sleep all night . So its just baffling me !

Max has been doing the same thing the past few nights. It looks like he is about to cut two more teeth. I hope this passes quickly.

Nathan does that too (but not the screaming). He'll be sound asleep, sleep for a couple of hours then wake up. It's worse when he's teething. Sometimes I will put some teething gel on him, other times a bottle helps.

Have you introduced any new foods lately? If so it could be a sign of an allergy or intolerance. It you still think it is teething you can try a baltic amber necklace. Personally when Orion wakes up in pain I do a few things, I nurse him a little if he will nurse while rubbing the soles of his feet (There is a accupressure point there for stomach problems) Then if that dosen't do it, I will give him some Camillia to help with the pain from teething. I aso check his diaper and tell him I understand he is hurting. I would be very wary rubbing teething gel on him then sending him back to bed, as in some rare cases it can cause breathing problems Benzocaine Topical Products: Sprays, Gels and Liquids - Risk of Methemoglobinemia Hylands brand is safe though, they also make teething tablets that can help. I do reccomend Camillia though, I find it is a very good mixture.

Hi all , sorry it took me so long to post back , been working crazy hours! I had my mom bring her today to the doctors. Nothing real serious just some fluid in her ears. Told us to try bennydril to dry her ears up . Also thinks its just a lot of teething keeping her up. First night of bennydril and shes sleeping soundly.. i hope it lasts all night
