If you breastfeed, do you chalk it up as "exercise" or alter your goal calorie intake, or ignore it?
I read on the forum that some people were including it as a daily exercise, at about 300 calories a day (give or take). I have been ignoring this, as it seems to not be impacting my weightloss but should I be considering it? I don't want to slow my loss down, and my supply seems OK so far... I'm losing about 1.5-2# per week (so far), which is my goal.

Truthfully I have been ignoring it. I have never been one of those people that the pounds just came off easy because I was breastfeeding. I wish I was. So when I started counting my calories I thought about it and just decided to ignore it for the time being and see how it went. My biggest concern is my supply. So far it has been fine and is not affecting my supply and doesn't seem to impact Hudson in anyway. I think it is because I have also been drinking a ton of water, which helps. However yesterday and today, I don't feel as full in between is feedings and he still seems hungry shortly after eating. I am starting to wonder if it is now affecting my supply. If this seems to keep up, I think I might up my calorie goals and try to consciously eat more. Hope that makes sense!
