As you know, we've been working feverishly to clear out my office, clean it up spic and span, and get DD's new furniture and everything ready to go for her in there.
We're about finished!!!
Just waiting on a couple little touches (pink bean bag, pink tie backs for the curtains, valance for the "naked" window) but for the most part, we are DONE!
She's been playing around in there for a couple days now, and I think we'll try getting her to sleep in there tomorrow

I did the phrases on the walls myself, so they are kinda crooked and we're going to sew the bottoms of the sheer curtains so they aren't so long... but all in all, I am THRILLED!
The bean bag will go by the bookshelf and the little puppy mural, in her "reading area".
Thanks for looking! I'm excited and I pray she sleeps well in there... tomorrow's (Sat.) going to be her first day/night sleeping in there!

It looks very cute!!!! I'm jealous of your progress. My office is WAY full of stuff, and I have to empty it and turn it into a room for my DS before I can get all the baby stuff out and start organizing. Yikes!
Thanks, girls! We weren't planning on having to have all this done so fast, but with DD crawling out of her crib and all, it put us on the fast track to get her transitioned since we had to take the crib down right away.
We'll see how she does today! I have a feeling she'll be looking to play more than sleep, so I'm gearing up for a couple more sleepless nights... Maybe she'll surprise me!

The mural decals are easy... basically big stickers. That's kind of disappointing because as soon as she figures that out, I bet they are off the wall! Oh well, it'll be cute for a little while... I wish I could have painted them on, but I have NO skills in that area at all.
My dad is a painter, I may have him do something just totally random and cute for her when he comes in September, then she won't be able to "pull" it off the wall
