I took an Intelligender this morning and it said we are having a girl. I don't really believe it but it was fun to take it to see if it would be right. I haven't ever used one before. My OB appt with my new doctor went GREAT. No high risk dr this time, blood pressure is perfect, blood sugars are perfect. I don't even have to go back for four weeks, so that felt really good. Baby's heart rate was 186. He or she are measuring small, so not sure if they will change my due date or not. The doctor is going to let me try for a VBAC and will not induce me unless I'm over due. I really didn't think I'd care about a VBAC but after my BFP it because really important to me to find a dr. that would let me try. Here's a pic of the u/s today. Baby measured 10 wks 4 days.

Precious. I hope you get your VBAC! I always assumed I'd be a repeat c/s but the more and more I think about it, I reallllly want to push a baby out.

was your BP & blood sugars elevated from the very beginning when you were pregnant with Owen?

i also have just assumed i would do a repeat C/S...but the more people talk about doing VBAC makes me want to give it a go.

It was. It started getting high at 8 or 9 weeks. By 12 weeks I was on modified bed rest and had to leave my job I believe at 14 weeks on short term disability. That lasted the entire pregnancy. I really felt awful when I was pregnant with him. This time is so completely different, I find myself forgetting that I'm even pregnant. Hopefully it stays that way!

I really didn't think I'd want a vbac either, but now I'm so focused on it. Hopefully it works out. I had two natural childbirths before Owen. My c-section wasn't hard to recover from, but it was harder than a vaginal birth. Plus I don't want to be in the hospital longer than I have to!

I really want a girl. I don't want to tell people that, because I don't want people to think I wouldn't be happy with a boy. Another boy would be great, but if I could pick I'm hoping it's a girl. If it's a boy I'm afraid I'm going to want to try one more time.

Glad to hear everything is going well this time. Isn't it amazing how different each pregnancy is ?.

Fingers crossed you get your little girl and a VBAC. (I had a VBAC after a C section. The recovery was so easy by comparison.)
