homemade Valentines

Hi! First a quick intro, I'm Monica mom to three wonderful children ages 7, 4 and 4 months. I have always loved crafts of all kinds.

I recently found some mini playdoh on clearance at Target. I have enough for both my children to make Valentines with them. But I'm stuck on what to make. Any ideas appreciated. I am thinking of using cardstock to make hearts and somehow attach them to the doh container. But I need a clever saying. My 7 yr old is a boy and my 4 yr old is a girl. One thing I thought of is "You take the doh, Valentine!" but I know there has to be something better! Help.

Also, feel free to post what your kiddos are doing for Valentines this year so others can get some ideas.

This is such a great Valentine idea, but it really is a tough one to think of a catchy saying for. I have been trying and can't come up with anything. I will keep thinking though. I even did a google search and couldn't find anything.

I will post a thread on the scrapbooking board and see if the woman there can think of anything. We are always coming up with catchy titles and such with our scrapbooking pages.

We are making our Valentines too. We are making pillow boxes out of card stock and putting the individual bags of m&m's inside. We are also making little bag/boxes for the teachers and putting the "good" candy in them for them. I will post pic's when we are done, probably in the Feb Challenge thread up in the sticky section.

I'm racking my brain and all I came up with so far is:

Play-Doh, play treat
Valentine you are sweet

Doh (Dough) you want to be mine?

Also you could cut cardstock to fit the lids and put sayings on them llike "be mine" etc like the conversation heart candy.
