We go the IL's but then sneak back to our house to meet up with our siblings for dessert, drinks and games. Even my BIL's sneak out of their parent's house to come over. My IL's haven't a clue...unless one of them reads it here!

So...I don't cook a full meal but I do make the mashed potatoes and a green bean casserole for dinner. And then lots of dessert items that stay at my house for the 'after party'

we always have thanksgiving at our house with both sides of our families over and we do all the cooking and baking. we start the week before. this year is differant though. it is gonna be just us because i am dealing with a miscarriage and dont want the hassle and headache of it all.
dh is doing most of the cooking because i have to work. although i am making a couple of pies on wednesday.
