We're not Christian and don't plan to make Easter a family holiday. Will's working, and Caitie and I will probably go up to my mom's for dinner - mom and stepdad are religious, but with three crazy grandkids, they make the day about family with no religious talk. Makes some people uncomfortable, but I prefer it that way. And there's no way I'm going to pass up boiled dinner made by someone else.
Traditions? I'm trying to start a new one. Think: we have Easter eggs. We have the Easter bunny. Bunnies do NOT lay eggs. So, Easter CHICKEN. I've got my 7yo nephew convinced that the Bunny beats up the Chicken every year and steals her eggs so he'll get all the credit for them. He feels badly for the chicken, and always insists that we go to my grandparents' house to give their chickens some extra food. Hehehe...
