what do you do in the cold weather to stay warm?

its been in the negatives. We usually cuddle up and keep warm and drink hot chocolate

It was in the negatives a few days ago.... that sucked...
And keeping warm consists of sweaters, blankets, hot showers, coffee, and tea...

Blankets and thick socks are my best friends in winter! We still keep the heat pretty low, and I hate it when it turns off! DH is always plenty warm, but my face and extremities get so cold so fast.

Gotta have soft warm sheets on the bed too, and we keep a fake fur blanket on there too, even though we end up sweating half way through the night.

Our low at my house in Portland, ME hit -12.6 last week overnight and it was a solid 4 degrees when I walked in to work the next morning at 9 AM. Amazingly, it didn't feel THAT cold. It wasn't breezy, so it was fine. I'll take that over 25 and windy where it just cuts right through you!

Lots of layers plus blankets!!! It has gotten to about -2 with wind chill of -20 here...
