We bought a house 5 years ago this November and we absolutely love it! it's the perfect size for three of us, though I sometimes wish we had more storage.

We bought a townhouse shortley after getting married in 1999...then we had Kaylee in 2001 and realized the layout was sooo not child friendly. Every floor was a different level so there were stairs EVERYWHERE!!! So...in 2003 we bought the house that we live in and unless someone pays me money to move out and then gives me the home of my dreams for free...we will be here forever!

We rent in a military housing area. I guess it's close to a townhome. It's alright for now, but we're looking at moving in a year and a half again, and will probably be buying whereever we move next, hopefully Virginia.

I have a friend that lives in Florida and she lives in a Military House with her 3 children, Mother, Brother/Wife/Child. Is that allowed??

Question, what happens if you get devoced from somebody who is in the Military do you get kicked out of the housing because you are no longer with that person (Military Husband).

We live in my townhouse that I bought a couple of years before I got married. We have an apartment in the three-family house that he bought with his brothers before we were married.

It seems know of days that people are choosing to leave in Townhomes then Houses... I wonder why,? I quess because there easier to maintain but the only thing that stinks is you have to pay a Maintance Fee.

Does anybody else have to pay that and is it very high in cost???

When we lived in our townhouse, our maintenance fee was close to $200 a month!!! But they did keep the property around us maticulous! Sometimes I long for those days of someone else doing all the yard work!

Friends of mine are moving from their townhouse to a house and are trying to get their townhouse sold before closing on their house to avoid a bridge loan...so if anyone out there is interested in a townhouse...2 bedroom, beautiful end unit...PM me!

No that is not allowed and if the government finds out she will most likely be kicked out of government housing permenantly.

If you get a divorce whoever has custody of the kids (if any) gets to keep the house for 30 days. If the soldier has custody and has it for 6 months and 1 day out of the year they get to keep the house.
