What age did you start buying dolls for your kids??

Good question. My kids are 3 and 5 and I haven't bought a Barbie for them yet. I remember that my niece had out-grown Barbies by the time she was 6 or 7 - makes me hesitant to invest too much in them. 6 or 7 is probably early, though.

I remember playing with my Barbie Dolls in Junior HS with my friend Kelly all the time.. I guess kids are into diffrent things this day and age...

You weren't the only one, Kris... I loved my Barbie Dolls and played with them for a very long time and then got into collecting them!

Kaylee's into playing with Barbies now and she is 6. Not "super" into them but she does like to play with them daily. The Barbie Movies that are out seem to push her to want to play them.

Rylan has "action figures", as his Daddy insists on calling them. We actually recently went and got all of DH's old GI Joes out of his parents' attic.

Ry loves to play with them. He's really into pretend play these days.

Kelsey probably got her first one by the time she was 2, Riley is 3 and has many and loves them.

I def played with mine until about Jr HS. Don't know how young I was when I got them though. My friend's daughter is 3 and is playing with them and LOVES them.

I think that is going to be one of Sara's toys on her Christmas List this year.... Can't wait until she really get into them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
