[Girl IS my name]

I'm happy to report Miss Aubree is 8 lbs and 21 inches long. She is apparently at risk for being underweight, but I wasn't offered any real solutions as to how to fix that. I don't feed her on a schedule, I feed her when she asks for it. I hope that's not wrong. She does great with tummy time, but she's been lifting her head since birth. She's smiling and started cooing yesterday. She's so bright eyed and smart. Also, when she sleeps, she's just like her momma and can sleep through anything.

She is beautiful Steph!!! My SIL has been told since both of her kids were born that they thought her kids were underweight and they have never told her anything she should do differently.

Is she gaining okay? As long as that's happening I wouldn't be concerned with how big she is. One of the girls in my PR has a little girl that's only 10 pounds at 6 months old! Her pedi isn't concerned at all because she is growing okay and apparently both of her parents were petite babies too. You are supposed to feed babies on their own schedule so it sounds like you're doing great . How old is she now? She's beautiful !

Lacey, she seems to be gaining pretty well. She is LONG! We did have to go into the hospital a couple of weeks ago cause she got a UTI. Let me tell you, that was HORRIFYING. Because she was so young they tested her for EVERYTHING, including meningitis, which included a lumbar puncture. I was a basket case. But she's all better now. They said UTI's were pretty common for little girls and there was nothing I could have done to prevent it.

She'll be 7 weeks old on Thursday, and she's at her first day of daycare today. *sniffle* I miss her. I'm going to go see her in 21 minutes though.
