How did you meet DH? He & my cousin are best friends. We actually first met when I was about 11 & he was 20!!! We started hanging out when I was 18 & my cousin was dating one of my good friends.
How many kids do you want? It varies from day to day, but DH & I have kind of agreed that anywhere from 2-4 would be nice.
What grades/subjects do you teach? I have a 7th grade homeroom. I teach 7th grade Religion (it's a Catholic school), & 7th & 8th gr. Social Studies.
What are your best and worst personality traits? Best: I go w/ the flow & am very flexible. Worst: I often speak w/o thinking (no sugar coating from me) and I am a bigtime procrastinator.
What would you say is your best physical feature? I like my eyes.
What about one you would change if you could? I think when I'm all done having kids I'll probably get a breast augmentation. I'm very, very small (like barely a 32A). It is so difficult finding bras & tops that fit right.
Do you have any pets? No.
Have you always lived in the Midwest? Yes. I now only live about 20 minutes from the city I grew up in.
do you like to read? LOVE to read. Finding time to is the problem.
what is your favorite tv show? Hmm, I like a bunch. House, How I Met Your Mother, Idol, the Simpsons & Family Guy. And I could watch I Love Lucy reruns all day.
what is your favorite movie? It's a toss up between Forrest Gump & the Godfather.
who is your fav actor/actress? I love Angelina Jolie. I'm also a big fan of John Wayne and Jack Nicholson.
do you wear glasses or contacts? Both. Mostly the glasses these days b/c my contacts are suddenly driving me crazy.
have you ever had any surgeries? Nope.
ever broken a bone? Nope. Sprained my finger when I was like 10.

How did you choose Dominic's name? Ok, not sure if you all remember the movie Kindergarten Cop, with Arnold Schwarzeneggar? Well, I saw it when I was like 10 y/o and the little boy in the movie was named Dominic....I fell in love with the name then. When DH & I started dating and got to talking about names for our future kids I said how much I liked that name and he agreed. So, our firstborn son had his name picked out years before he was in the womb.

Have you thought about future kids' names? Yes!!! All the time! I have a long list of boys' names that I loved & DH has already vetoed. We're pretty set on our next son being Anthony, though I'm trying to talk him into James or Jacob. For a girl...idk, on the way to hospital when Dom was born we were still debating between Alexandria, Emily, & Caitlin.

Did you grow up wanting to be a teacher or something else? Not too many people irl know this about me, but my secret ambition was always to be a writer or author, but both of those careers you have to be willing to gamble and I'm too sensible. When I started college, I was originally majoring in Psychology - I wanted to be a therapist or guidance counselor. I changed to education my 3rd year!

Do you like scary movies? Love 'em! The Shining is one of my favorite, but I also really like the first Nightmare on Elm Street. And most M. Night Shamylan movies.

What is your favorite dinner to cook at home? Pizza, lol!

What's your favorite dinner to enjoy at a restaurant? Steak w/ sauteed mushroom & onions.

What is your favorite thing about teaching? I really like interacting w/the junior high kids...12 & 13 y/o's are so funny sometimes. And now that I'm teaching Social Studies I'm so thrilled I can share my love of random historical information w/ 120 unwilling kiddos, lol! Oh, and the summers off ain't bad.

What is your favorite thing about where you live? Mmm, this is hard b/c I don't really like where I live. I guess being close to family & friends - but not close enough where they drop in unannounced.
