I think most of us are sick of winter and snow and looking forward to sunshine and warmth. Is anyone planning on taking a vacation in the near future?

DH and I are trying to plan something for the end of March for just the two of us to get a break from the cold and snow. We're also thinking about taking a big family vacation this summer.

We're tentatively planning a summer/fall vacation. It depends on a few different factors, but we'll do some variation of it at some point. Right now we want to take 2 days in Minneapolis then head to the U.P. to see DH's family by way of Green Bay. Then we'll head to downstate MI to see my family. It's a big trip and we'll probably go nuts with a 2.5 y.o. and 3-4 month old in the back seat, but it'll be fun!! Right!?!

We always try to take our vacation Mid-June but haven't decided what to do this year. Lots of possibilities but not sure.

Dh and I are going to Tennessee and Kentucky the middle of March. The kids are staying with Dh's parents. I'm really looking forward to it but it'll be hard being away from the kids for so long.

It will be nice for you guys to get away together, but I agree totally on leaving the kids. It is so hard.
