Hubby has been in charge of dinner during the week days since i'm in night class. He was going to make meatloaf for dinner tonight. I gave him my recipe and he goes so what do i need, 1 or 2? I said take 1lb of hamburger and 1lb of turkey, mix it with the rest of the ingredients and you'll have enough for one metal loaf pan. "yeah, yeah, yeah...what do i bake it at?" I told him 350* and for an hour covered in tin foil, then unwrap it, top it with ketchup and bake it for another 20 or 30 mins until the thermometer temps out over 170 because of the poultry in it and it should be done.
I get home from class and there are 2 loaves with a meatloaf that is about 2 inches tall in each one i was like, i told you one metal pan. "no you didn't, i asked you 1 or 2 and you said 2" i told him "no i didn't, i told you 1lb of hamburger and 1lb of turkey and put it in one metal pan" when i was at the top of the stairs when you were leaving for the gym. Hehe, we'll see if he remembers for the next time he makes meatloaf. it was okay, just a little crispy on the edges after being cooked too long for how "thin" the loaves were
