Are they bad in your area? The sure seem to like Riley and our weenie dog. Bites on the both of them swell up almost to the size of a quarter. Poor things. So far bug spray hasn't cut it, we're using an Off! brand that has a 25% DEET content in it, i didn't want to get a higher content because of Riley but it's not even stopping them. Next stop is to find an Avon rep, i've heard that the Avon skin so soft lotion repels them for some reason. It's worth a shot because the poor kid looks miserable especially when they are itchy and i hate trying to force benedryl down him, he is no longer a good medicine taker

They are horrible here and with the flooding they are not going to get any better until it freezes again!

Skin so soft works for us but it doesnt work for some people...our pedi said that no one knows what is in it that works but it works for some and not for others.

I really dread going outside, they are terrible! On a good note, there havent been very many June bugs...those things make me scream.
