What is your favorite restaurant to eat at in your town?
By far a place called "Dreisbach's." It used to be a steakhouse restaurant in town but closed down in the late 90's. In the last couple of years the owner's daughters or granddaughters started commercially making the restaurant's homemade dressings and selling them. They expanded to a line of au gratin potatoes that the restaurant made and withing the last month opened a smaller restaurant in a strip mall serving all the old favorites. They have the best chicken and ribs in town. I was in heaven tonight when we went there. Brought back TONS of memories of my mom ordering takeout from there when i was little. I'm :drooling: just thinking about it LOL!

For us it depends on the meal and what we want Breakfast is almost always Village Inn, there's really no place else (unless you count Hyvee...) to go for a nice breakfast. If we want something quick and tasty while running errands we'll eat at Hyvee, which does sound weird but they have surprisingly good Chinese food at ours and fresh sushi! Mexican we LOVE Azteca. If we want a fancy meal without kids we'll go to Biaggi's.
Like I said, we have LOTS of favorites and love to go out to eat as a family.
When we lived in South Carolina there was a Waffle House on every corner. There are 2 near us. It's the first meal I ate after I had each of my kids. DH went and got eggs, hash browns, bacon & toast. Way better then hospital food!
