I didn't know anyone named Sierra when I picked her name. I found it in a baby names book. There have been MULTIPLE Sierra's in all three of the schools she has attended though. William has always been a popular name, but he was named after a family member, so popularity wasn't considered. The names that we are considering for future babies are not even in the top 1,000, and have not been in the past 12 years! That thrills me. I want unique names for my kids. (Unique, not bizarre!)

Raechel is at 117 (spelled our way it wasn't found)
Daniel is 10
Joseph is 22
Thomas is 63
Mary is 112
Lucy is 72

Almost all my kids' names are less popular than in 2000. Daniel was about the same. Lucy is more popular than it used to be. That sure is interesting!
