Yes, that is my version of disciplining myself!

I am sorry I have been so MIA recently. My sister has been in the hospital with life-threatening complications after having her baby, I've been dealing with last minute school related stuff, and its just been a zoo around my house! Hopefully things are starting to get back to normal now. I'll be good now. Or I'll try at least!

I'm sorry to hear about your sister, you must be worried about her. How is she doing?

I think we all know that sometimes real life is more important than even JM.

She is doing much better. It was really touch and go for a while. Emergency surgery and 4 transfusions later though.... she'll pull through in the end. She didn't pass all of her placenta and they sent her home that way. They had to give her two transfusions just to get her stable enough for the emergency D & C.

Seriously. Even I know how to check my placentas to make sure it was all accounted for... how can they be so negligent!? That kind of crap makes me so mad.

Oh, even worst than that.... the idiot doctor she had in the beginning was giving her ASPIRIN around the clock for the fever she had from the infection. ASPIRIN! In a woman who nearly bleed to death! The spent days trying to figure out the reason behind the bleeding they could not get stopped, and were pumping her full of aspirin around the clock the whole time! (Same doctor who supposedly checked her placenta.)
