I wonder how I would be able to handle the situation, so I thought I would pose the question for all of you. How would you handle this? (Though I pray that none of us ever have to handle a situation like this.) I picked this story specifically because this is not only in my area, but the mother is also a very close friend of mine.
Honestly, I don't know how I would handle it. I know how I would handle it if I was with my kids, but the fact that they separated her from her son..... I think my plan of fighting back would go right out the window at that point. I am AMAZED that she thought to call her husband from her phone. I never would have come up with something like that.
Oh, boy... That was really smart of her to use her phone but keep it hidden in her pocket. I'm so glad she and the kids are okay. I have no idea what I would do in a situation like that... I guess you never really know how you'd react.
