Well, thanks for the warm welcome! This is a very busy forum, I hope to have time to read through some of the posts.
I'm Stacey, mom to four kids ages 9, 12, 18 and 20. My husband is a farmer and I am a para-educator (kinda like a teaching assistant) for 7th grade special ed students.
I love having my summers off so I can spend more time with my family. We live on a 200 acre farm in Michigan that has been in my husband's family since 1852. My kids raise animals for our local fair and that keeps us pretty busy in the summer.
You all seem like a great group, and I can't wait to get to know you all better!

Gosh I think it is just so neat that your husband is a farmer. I would one day really like to live on a farm, I love hearing stories about my grandparents farm when my dad was young.

Living on a farm interesting, and usually fun, but when there's no money in the checking account, or the cattle get loose, or the boys track manure in the house, or I have to go outside in sub zero temps because DH needs help starting the tractor, I sometimes say to myself, "what was I THINKING?!?" LOL
Seriously, I was raised in the city, but I wouldn't trade this life for anything!

Wow, I bet that took some getting used to! And to have a farm in the family sine 1852 is amazing!

Yeah I liked when I lived in Cincinnati, because I was in the city but my friend sarah lived a few counties over in the country, so I got a taste of that for a weekend and then went back!!
