Do you ever go to any plays/musicals/shows?

If so, what has been your favorite?

I haven't been in a while. I've seen Wicked most recently. I like musicals.

I've been to a couple, stomp, lord of the dance and grease.

It's not really my thing, I rather go to a concert

Just a couple weeks ago I saw Wicked and loved it. It is one of my favorites. I also really love the Phantom of the Opera and O in Vegas.

We used to go to the playhouse here to see my dad in plays when I was little. My favorite was when he played Fred in A Christmas Carol.

I teach HS, so those are about the only ones I go to. I really liked Guys and Dolls. I was in Godspell in HS, and I loved it!

Phantom of the Opera is definitely my favorite. I love plays and musicals though. Matt is talking about getting us season passes to a place in Des Moines (can't remember what it's called right now.) so hopefully we'll get to go more often.

I like musicals but I never go to see them (I'd like to, though). I love Hello, Dolly! I had a dance role when we did it in high school.

I love O in Vegas, too.

Guys and Dolls is great! You could rent the movie and see how gorgeous Marlon Brando was when he was younger.

Sarah played her clarinet, in the pit, for the last combine high school musical. The play was Crazy for You! I only saw it 4 times! LOL! It was only performed 6 times! I work for the school district, though, so I get in free!

The year before, the high schools did Seussical. I liked that one, too! We have 2 high schools in town and musicals are an expensive affair, so they work together. The leads all have an "A" cast and a "B" cast, so more kids get the lead parts. So, it's interesting to go, at least twice, to see an "A" play and a "B" play!

Next year, it's Beauty and the Beast.

For the community theater, they did a great job a year or so ago, on Fiddler on the Roof. This year, they did Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and that was fun, too.

I don't usually get out to see professional theater. We have plenty good amateur theater right in town, so why bother! Milwaukee is an hour away.
