I am sooooooooo excited about my new job! It was kind of a spur of the moment thing, but I'm glad it happened. I'm still working with the same company, just switching roles. My former position required evening hours and some weekends, which has been okay, but I've been apprehensive about how it'd work when the baby gets here. Figuring out who's going to watch Wyatt when I work in the evening has been a nightmare lately with DH being gone, so I was even more worried about finding someone to watch both kids when I had to work late. Anyways, I'm transitioning to a different position that is only 8:00-4:30, no evenings or weekends! Yay!!! I'm so thrilled...it's such a relief to know that I won't have to worry so much about evenings, traveling extensively for meetings and such! I am beside myself with happiness! Now if I find out tomorrow that I'm having a little girl, it will be icing on my cake! Of course if it's a boy, I'll still be happy. But so yeah, new job for me and I am super excited! Can you tell? LOL
YAY!!!! That is so exciting! Congrats my dear! I am glad you dont have that worry of finding someone for nights for both kids. One has to be hard enough let alone for 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well congrats girlie! I hope you get the news that you are having a baby girl tomorrow!
Congrats on the new job!! How exciting, did it mean a pay increase too?
That's awesome that you will be off at 4:30, that means you can have the nights with the kids!! So will you be off for maternity leave and then go back after that? Will the kids go to daycare or does someone in your family watch them?
Nope, no pay increase, but I will get reimbursed for mileage--.44 a mile, so that helps quite a bit.
I'll be off for 8-10 weeks for maternity leave. I wish I could take 12, but that's not really possible. As of now, my family child care provider who watches Wyatt will also have Carlie on Tues. Wed. and Thurs. My grandma will have them on Mon. and MIL on Fri. I'm not sure about Fri. though with all the issues I've had lately with MIL. I might be figuring something else out. I don't know.
