We have just started to "make a baby" but
for a couple of weeks now I have had very sore boobs
and other subtle signs of pregnancy. My DS is 16 so its been awhile
but my breasts have felt the same as it did the first time even though
its much earlier. I had what appeared to be my period on sept 4th (when it was due), it
was 2 days (instead of 4) then my boobs got more sore and are
still dark with blue veins. My question is should I forget about these
"pregnancy' symptoms and carry on trying for this month or is it
possible that I could be pregnant after having a lab urine test done
on sept 16th which was negative.

Our bodies are so strange and a lot of times when we are TTC we notice things we never would have before, and we look for things we never look for before.

I'm going to guess here and say that the bleeding you experinced on 4th was your period. If it were IB you would have gotten a pos. pregnancy by now! Well you should have!

I think sore boobs is also an AF symptom. If the lab was negative then i say its negative too.

Thanks for that! it was just weird because my boobs were really sore for a couple a weeks after my AF and went darker with veins. I'll chalk it down to over stimulating wishful thinking!! onwards to learning about my charts and CM, fingers crossed.

i think you should try to stay and remain positive. and if it comes out negative try to relax and have fun trying to create a little bean good luck and hang in there, this whole experience can be frustrating as hell.
