I am breastfeeding (although not exclussively) my 6 month old boy and am on the mini pill. My periods started again and have been regular from the start. Now, however, I am almost a week late and have been experiencing some things that may/may not be considered "symptoms". I am hungrier more that usual, gained 5 lbs, very tired and irritable, suddenly constipated, and have experienced my first hemmoroid. (Gross yes but I have heard these are possible "symptoms") I took 2 tests about a week ago and they both came up negative. But I worry because my last pregnancy, I failed 7 home tests and 4 blood tests. I didnt have a positive result until my second trimester!!! Im worried but I dont know how likely a PG is on the mini?? (And I must confess I am horrible at taking them regularly and/or on time) Anything would help me at this point.
