Hi. I'm 19 years old and my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for about 2 months now. I started tracking my cycle and when I'm ovulating. According to the ovulation calculator I was using, I was ovulating August 16th and we had unprotected sex on the 17th. The last few days my boobs are sore, firm, and hurt if they get bounced at all (like when I go up the stairs too fast). My husband says that my areola are slightly bigger then they were and my nipples are darker. I've also been feeling very tired and been peeing slightly more then normal. I've read that sore breasts could be a pms symptom but it's never happened before. SO, I'm just looking for some input before it's time to take a test. I'm anxious.

Your signs are promising.

If you ovulated August 16th, then you should be able to get a positive result on a early response test (like First Response) now if you conceived!

My advice to you is whatever test you end up getting, do not get a blue dye, definitely get a pink dye test whether it be FRER or dollar store or other brand.

Good luck and I hope you'll post your result!

I took a clear blue test on Monday and it was negative. Was that too early? I'm thinking of taking another around Saturday if I still have no pms symptoms or my period hasn't come.
