So Jeremy was not a baby who wanted to join us. He was nice and cozy in there

. But at 38 weeks I was measuring 42 and the dr was concerned he would be to big for me to deliver. Heck I was worried

. So they scheduled me to be induced on September 4th. My midwife stripped my membranes in the hopes he would decide to arrive before Monday. Yes I was in Labor on Labor Day haha

. So Monday morning arrived. My brother in law had come to town to be there. Linda went to a friends house the night before. We got to the hospital at about 6am. I got checked in. Got my IV started with fluids and antibiotics. I had to have two bags before they would start the induction. I was having little contractions but nothing major. So I hung out got my IV's and relaxed. Just before noon they were ready to start the pitocen. My midwife said I could have my epidural asap since I was being induced. So they did my epi and started the pitocen. Just after 2pm she came and checked me. I was about 8cm, she had me push a little and bam I was at 10 and ready to go

. So the nurse comes in, my midwife tells me to push again. Out comes Jeremy. One push, 7 min. Easy peasy. Probably the reason I am all for induction. I spent all of 2.5 hours in labor pushed once and was done

. His was so much calmer and no one in the room. Just my midwife, nurse and hubby. Jeremy was 8lbs even and was a good nurser from the beginning. He was 39 weeks when he was born.
