My younger sister is getting married on March 7th. She has asked me to be a bridesmaid and I'm going to be 36 weeks pregnant, ha!
We went shopping for bridesmaid dresses last week because she hadn't picked them out yet and she picked dresses at David's bridal. Orignally we thought I'd get a maternity dress in the same color that everyone else was wearing and a similar style to whatever dress she picked for the 3 other bridesmaids. Well, we got to David's bridal and they have discontinued the maternity dresses. Dang it. SO I had to get a size 18 in the same dress the other girls are wearing and then it will have to be altered down. It's going to cost me double what the other girls are having to pay after the alterations. I'm just over being in this wedding. I had to get such a big size (I normally wear an 8 or 10) but need the big size so the dress is long enough to hang over my stomach. Grrr. Maybe I can get my midwife to say I shouldn't be standing for so long? Hahaha.
Dh and I plan to start TTC this summer and if I get pregnant right away I'll be close to 30 weeks pregnant for my SIL's wedding that I am the matron of honor in, thankfully she knows our plans of TTC and her mom is making our dresses so we picked out an empire waist dress that will work with a prego belly..
I can't believe david's discontinued their maternity bridesmaid dresses.. I'm sorry you had to pay double, that stinks..
