It's finally starting to get cold here! Today it was in the 60's, and tonight it's in the 40's! I actually turned the heater on for the first time. It's hard to get in the holiday spirit when it's 80 degrees! It's suppost to stay cold throughout the week, and I'm hoping longer than that.
It's been a bit cooler at night here than it was last week, but coming from WI where I already saw snow this fall, it still doesn't seem cold yet. I agree though, it doesn't feel like the holidays if it's hot outside. I do not miss the hot FL Christmases that I grew up with. Last Christmas in WI we had close to 36 inches of snow with 6 foot drifts on Christmas Day!
It got colder here this week. 40-50s. I know it's warmer than the north, but it's still chilly. And yes, it's hard to get in the holiday spirit when it's 70 out. So, it's kind of nice to be a little cold... however, some snow would be nice to really get me in the holiday spirit... but doubt that will happen all the way down here. Only occassionally do I miss living up north
