Where is a good place to get pro pictures taken at?

I've done the easy fast pics at walmart but we are getting ready to do Easter and then his 1st birthday pictures and i want them to be really good!

Anybody have experience with motophoto? sears? Penney's? Target?

I have used picture people, sears, and Lcpennys, Walmart. To be honest it is not where you go it is who is taking the pictures. Ask for the manager to take yours when you make the appointment. Also look at advertisements so you know what kind of backgrounds and poses you like. Don't be afraid to tell them what you want. Sears is the most expensine but you can buy the proofs and use tghem as you wish. For instance you could make phot cards or gifts with the pics if you buy the proofs and the rights. They do not tell you that though if you do not ask. Here re a few from xmas. I choose the background, the pose and told them when to click basically but they are georgous I think.

We went to Sears. They were expensive, but came out pretty good. I Did Not like who was taking our pictures, they could not have gotten a worse person to do it.

I have gone to Kid Shotz only--don't know if it's a chain or just local. I haven't used any of the others though
