Whats the cheapest hotel there?

And the camp grounds, can you use tents instead of RV?

I've never seen the ocean, and my cousins are going to myrtle beach, and its a one in a life time deal, and I really want to go. But with our finanical situation, me being laid off and looking for a job. I just dont see how its possible.

I really want to see the ocean before I die, and heres my chance, but yet my financial situation is causing problems like it always does.

Wel I live in Myrtle Beach, and I would recommend staying at Ocean Lakes Campground. Its like a KOA but its in Surfside, which is about 10 minutes outside of Myrtle Beach. You may be able to find cheaper accomodations outside of city limits during August. Good Luck to you!

I'm in NC, but, when we went to Myrtile beach a few years ago, this time of year, it was PACKED and couldn't find a hotel that wasn't $100+ and that wasn't ocean front.
