My grandmother had tons of recipes that we have all tried to learn--custard, mac and cheese, her famous chocolate cake, chocolate meringue pie....
Chocolate Chip Cheesecake bars are my specialty:
Ingredients:
1 Roll of cookie dough ( I use 1.5 rolls and use rest to make cookies)
8oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
~~
Blend egg, sugar, and cream cheese together
In 9 in pan, take 1/2 of cookie dough roll (or whatever it takes) and flatten to form a crust. Pour cream cheese mixture over it and crumble rest of cookie dough on top. Bake at 350 for 35 min

My brother would love those. I will have to find my recipe for parmesean pork loin. It is so delicious and about the only thing I can cook besides mac & cheese out of a box.

Do you have a recipe that has been passed down in your family? No, but I wish there were. I WANT my MIL's chocolate icing recipe!

Do you have one that you started and your family loves? I've never created my own, no.

Please share your favorite recipe with us. I don't remember them all right off...but I have several of my favorites posted in the cookbook subforum on the Moms of Girls board.
