Keith has been cruising around holding onto stuff for a while now and yesterday I left him with a friend of mine for an hour, I come home and she says to me "why didn't you tell me he's walking"? WTH? He took a few steps to her :*((
As if I wasn't having a bad enough day, the reason I left was to take my old dog to the vet and ended up having to have him put down. Then came home to THAT. As soon as she said that I burst into tears. I know he'll do it again but at that moment I wish she hadn't told me.

Elisabeth took her first (5-6) steps this friday at daycare to DH. I was not there and she has yet to repeat them. So I know the feeling...

Sean is in the couple steps, then fall stage. But he's getting better!

Sean stays home with DH during the day while I work, and he's always telling me that Sean did such-and-such today, then he wont' do it for me. It's sad. I understand the feeling of not wanting to know, but still being happy he did it. Even if he's a booger and won't put on a repeat performance for mama.

Maddie took her first 5 steps at 8 1/2 months and is now starting to run. I'm so sorry about your dog, that is the hardest part about having furbabies. I hope you have a better week this week. Hugs!

Des just wants me to hold his hands so he can walk with me all over the place! My back is killing me. I can't wait for him to do it on his own.

Johnny will walk if I hold his hand. If he 'thinks' no one is watching he tries to walk on his own. He has walked 3 steps so far.

I have had a hard time deciding to get a dog because they never seem to outlive their families.

Arden has been walking since December. I'm so glad because I knew she could for awhile before that but she just wanted to hold our hands and RUN RUN RUN everywhere. Our backs were killing us too! One day she finally just started taking steps and didn't stop.

Maddox isn't even close to walking yet! He is just at the pulling himself up to a standing position stage.

Audrey is walking, she took like 6 steps two days before DH got home from work, and then a week ago she stopped crawling and walks everywhere now.

Mason walks with toys or holding our hands, but he freaks out if he figures out you let go...he could do it, but hes not... Hes pretty close though!

lol - I just looked at this post again - I posted about Des walking holding my hands back in January! I can't believe it's MARCH and he's STILL doing it! My back still hurts too. He's getting better tho - taking a few steps on his own.
