As of today I'm still 2cm dilated but I'm 80% effaced and she is sitting as low as she can be. I said she couldn't come tomorrow cuz hubby has drill 45 minutes away and the doctor said then he wouldn't be too aggressive when he was checking me.
Doc seems to think she'll come within the week. If I for some reason make it too next thursdays appointment we will be more aggressive.
YaY!!!
Update: Ellie Joanne came 2/4/12 at 1:03am. She is 7lbs 1oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I'll share pictures when I get home. She didn't wait for dad. Had to call him so he came home and met me at the hospital. My mom got on the first flight and made it before Ellie arrived. She is just too adorable

Way cool! I don't remember if you said what you are planning labor-wise, but it sounds like everything is falling into place for you! That's so great!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you have an "easy" labor/delivery, and that it happens any day next week when your hubby is available  .

How exciting!!! That's wonderful news! Cherish every second of your last few days and try and rest up as much as possible. You trying anything to help get labor started?

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!! That a bummer daddy wasn't there but at least you and baby are safe! Can't wait to see pics of little Ellie! Hope your L&D went smoothly. I bet she's adorable

You need clarification for pregggo brain and I do for mama brain - LOL!! I forgot your hubby was out. Just re-read and realize you called and he meet you at hospital before baby was born. I don't know what's worse, preggo brain or mama brain-hehe! But do know for me it didn't let up much after having the baby

daddy was there for most of labor and definetly there for delivery pictures to come somtime this week. had to go to her first doc appointment today all on my own. shes growing well but keeping me busy. hope to get pics up this week sometime.

Glad she's growing well. Are you bfing or ffing? I know we'd all love to see pics of your little princess, but don't stress about it - we know how busy new moms can be. You focus on her and enjoy every second (yes, even the crying and screaming parts -lol )
