Seamus, no. He's on medication to sleep, has been since just before he turned 3yrs old (first was melatonin, now hes on a perscription med has been since September). He was to the point where he would sleep 3-4hrs in a 24hr peroid and that was it. He wouldn't nap he didnt' want to sleep at night. Even now on the meds he still wakes up off and on but will fall back to sleep and will, thankfully, sleep 8-12hrs it varies but loads better.
Kieran, yes. She's always been a good sleeper, too good. She started sleeping 8+hrs a night the night we brought her home from the hospital, it was one of the causes in her loosing almost 2lbs after birth. She's still taking 2-3hr naps most days and then sleeps for 8-12hrs a night w/o waking up. She went through a stretch a few months ago where she fought hard to not take naps but she'd become a huge pill around 6pm and ended up going to bed early. She's back to taking naps again.
