We've been having crazy nice weather! I bet a billion bucks that it snows at least 12 inches sometime in April, though. And I mean 12 inches at once. That's how our springs tend to go over here. I'm currently planning a MOMS Club event to recruit new members in May, and I'm a little worried that it might snow... or rain... or tornado, lol.
Haha, that reminds me of a time two years ago in April when the weather went like this:
7am (commute time): 1-2 inches of snow
10:15am (the end of my planning period): No snow, just rain everywhere
12:15am: We were dismissed from school because of the snow. Four or so inches on our cars, and they CLOSED THE INTERSTATE north of the school through where my house was. Unfortunately, I didn't know this, so I got on a different ramp (they were allowing local traffic, I guess), and I thought I was going to get stuck. I got between two semi trucks, since I figured they were radio-ing and knew the best lane to stay in, and barely made it!!!
7am (morning commute again, next day): roads are clear, most of the snow has melted
1:50pm: TORNADO WARNING. I had to huddle in the science storage room with 30 high school sophomores/juniors for half an hour. We sat there looking at the glass beakers, "flammable/hazardous" materials containers, and loads of other stuff wondering what would hurt us first if a tornado actually hit.
