I don't garden...I need to learn to put something in the little planter in my front yard since I pulled all the shrubs out of it last spring...I need plants/shrubs that are low maintenance...sorta wondering now why I pulled everything if I don't know what to do. LOL
I used to growing up. But we live in a duplex/condo and can't dig up the yard. Our back patio is a good size so I'm thinking of building a box to grow some herbs and tomatos. We can't plant till at least May 15th up here, thats typically our last frost date but this year could be delayed since we're still getting snow right now >.< our season up here is short
I'm tackling the whole gardening thing this year, but everywhere else on JM it seems like the mommies are growing with longer seasons . I just planted our onions/garlic and I'm planting potatoes tomorrow, but that's about all we can plant early because of the short season.
Jenny and I started some plants in one of those Jiffy seed greenhouse things. She loved pushing the seeds into the dirt! Now I'm hoping that I can manage not to kill them while I wait another month for our last frost date...
Oh, and I'd like to do some herbs, but I just keep killing them. Seriously, I think I have a black thumb.
