We just switched to straight talk in February/March. I think the phones that we purchased through them run off Verizon network.

We both had At&t before we switched but that was getting expensive and we wanted to add internet.

I was on Sprint, but now I have the Verizon prepaid plan. My phone isn't great, but it's functional, and it's saving us a lot of money!

T-Mobile, cheap plan (1000 shared minutes (inclu. long distance), unlim nights and weekends, unlimtext, 2GB of data each, unlimited moible to mobile and to other t-mo people for $109/mo for our two lines), ok coverage, awesome phones!

We spent a couple weeks scoping everyone out. Verizon wanted over $180 for a plan similar to the one we have now, At&T wouldn't approve us but were expensive anyway, Sprint was our next choice their plan for something simiar was almost he same as ours ($10/mo more) but we ended up going T-mo cause we got our Samsung Galaxy S II phones for $80 each (phone was rated better then the iPhone 4s's) and we'd already had T-Mo before and thats who my mom and a few friends have, plus they were cheaper. Some times they irritate me, and their coverage isn't the best up here since Verizon dominates the mountains but it works.

Yeah Verizon's plans are more expensive, but until RIGHT now I've always said their customer service is why, I'm mad at them atm though.
