Nope. We actually had a great L&D, so I think she's just glad it went well.

I keep wanting to write down my birth story, but then I can't bring myself to sit at the computer for long enough to do it!!

Last night was our first night at home, and it was pretty rough. It took awhile to figure out when Daphne was actually hungry and when she just wanted to suck on something. Plus, she seemed to be mixing day and night a little bit, and DH didn't help with that, since he was playing with her at midnight/1am!!!

Hopefully tonight will go better... although now my boobs hurt, lol .

Glad you had a good L&D!

Sorry last night was rough - hopefully tonight is/was better!

Kynslee has been having rough nights recently and we think it's teething but not sure. I think I may take her to the doc just to be sure that it's not something else though.

Ellie hasn't been sleeping through the nights either...

Hopefully Daphne will figure out days/nights...I don't dads get that you have to teach the baby when to sleep. When my DH goes in he turns on the light and starts giggling at her.

One more sleep night until CA!

The just suck on something is no different than hungry for me since we're trying to do LAM this time. You need to do that birth story, just write part of it and save it and come back later and write more of it!

How many teeth does she have now?

Lactation...A?...Method. It is using breastfeeding as birth control for 6 months. One of the things that makes it effective though is that you don't use fingers or pacifiers or anything. Or bottles. As soon as you do that stuff it lowers the effectiveness, and well since I'm done, I'm not lowering the effectiveness, if I did that I'd have to chart, though I may chart anyway.

Ah. I remember seeing a post about that in our DDC. My period came back at 4 months last time. Of course, we used binkies and I went back to work and was pumping at 6 weeks, so I think that can mess it up. We will be using charting + condoms again this time around. I definitely want another one, though! I hated being pregnant, but after we did L&D and brought Daphne home, I was like "Let's do that again!" lol .

Yeah, as soon as you give them a bottle of anything, pumped milk or formula, LAM isn't valid anymore. Which means your period might come back. Mine has only once made the 6 month point, and I had o'd before 6 months, it came back right after.

She is just now getting her bottom 2 front teeth. She has been a bear!! But, the last few days she's been better in the days but grumpy again in the late evening when getting ready for bed and in the night waking up and being in pain. I can finally feel a sharpness so hopefully they are starting to break through and we are over the worse part of teething! I'm glad because so far nothing has really worked except Camilia and I only give that to her at bedtime. And, Advil kinda worked but you can only give it to them every 8 hrs and it'd wear off after about 5 and she'd be in tons of pain and screaming again.

I'm almost 9 months pp and no aunt flow yet, but have no idea if I'd O'd or not yet as I don't keep track.

What is Camilia? We had to use Baby Orajel with Jenny or she wouldn't sleep. Now I wish I had encouraged her to use the little teething toys more, but idk if it really would have helped much. I heard the little Sophie giraffe toy is supposed to be a good teether, so I asked for someone to get one for Daphne. I hope she is better with the whole teething thing!

I've had two kids that were super late to get teeth, mine never get them very early though.
