We did a good jot at keeping our chat thread going again last month so let's chat it up.

Anybody want to guess which day Laurel's baby will come?

I'm taking the 6th just to be a stinker, but before her induction

I'll say the 4th as it sounds like a good day.

I've been marinating meat to do Kabobs (sp?!) for dinner tonight. I made my own recipe so I hope they turn out good. We'll see though.

Hope everyone is having a good day so far!

I'll say the 4th just because that's Ellie's number.

We have the strawberry festival this weekend so I'll try and stay out of town with all the traffic.

Good luck on the kabobs!

Haha, MIL's birthday is today. I was thinking that I would go between May 31 and today based on the signs that I started seeing three weeks ago, but it looks like no such luck. Maybe tomorrow, which is her "adjusted" due date (at first it was May 31 by LMP, but at the 8 wk u/s my ob/gyn bumped me back to June 3). Last night I THOUGHT we might be getting some action for about 15 minutes, but then it went away, grrrrrr.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmmm, strawberries and kabobs sound good right now. Of course, I just had some ice cream with a chocolate chip cookie, and I ate nachos before that, lol. I have given up on anything resembling self-control with regards to diet during this pregnancy .

Wow, lots of babies born already.

The kabobs turned out delicious! I have left over meat so I'll probably do them another day this coming week - can't wait! I love trying new things and glad these turned out good. I'm looking forward to grilling out more this Summer

BFing makes me munch all day long. I am always thinking about what I will be having the next meal.lol.

Ellie slept through most of the parade but dh and I enjoyed ourselves.

Ellie is officially 4 months today! Her checkup is on Thursday and we can figure out how big she is. I went ahead and switched her clothes last week so she is wearing 3/6 month clothes now.

Aw, sweet!

I am crazy hungry right now. I know everyone says that's because baby has "dropped", but I don't think she has... I think I am just a pig, lol .

I'm always pretty hungry at the end, and it has nothing to do with dropping.

I was hungry at the end also. BTW... my 4th date came and went - hehe!! Hope baby comes soon for you!

Happy 4 months Ellie!! Glad you all enjoyed the parade!

Kynslee isn't sleeping as good at night right now and so we both slept in today! Me until around 10 (which isn't normal) and I am just now hearing Kynslee talking to herself. At least she's waking happy!!

I don't think that's going to happen... I had my NST and last appointment this morning. STILL 1 cm and 70% effaced. Drat! The doc came in, looked at the print-out during my NST, and said, "You're having contractions!" I said, "Yeah, they don't hurt." She was bummed, too. At least I was able to see that the things I've been feeling are INDEED contractions, even though they're just BH ones.

She also told me that she has jury duty tomorrow, so if she gets stuck going in for more than one day, or if they don't get to her number tomorrow, she won't be there for my induction on Thursday. Talk about bad timing!! I don't mind, because our whole practice is great, but I do think it's funny .

LOL

My doc was telling me the signs of labor (ftm) in my last appointment to make sure I went to the hospital when it was time. I told him I couldn't have the baby the next day b/c dh wasn't going to be working in town. The doc didn't bother to tell me he wasn't working the next day either. So what happens the next day...my water breaks!
babies sure do know when to make an entrance into the world.

Haha, no, not this time! I think she is resigned to the way we've decided to do things, thank goodness. Or maybe I just don't care as much now... DH and I went out to dinner the other night and I vented majorly, so he helped me feel better.

So now that the induction has taken place, did MIL have anything to say about THAT?
