I'll be leaving on Tuesday and won't come back til Wednesday. Can't wait for warmer weather and relaxing with my family. I will get to meet my sister's littlest crew member who will be 2 at the end of August.
Where in CA will I be?? Merced area. blah. Or I like to call it....The middle of nowhere. Luckily my family is good company. Hehe.
It will just be Ellie and I. Her first airplane ride. I'm dreading the packing and lugging around everything at the airport. Thank goodness for baby carriers so she'll be on me and I'll just have to worry about our carry on and suitcase and car seat stuff.
How fun to visit CA!! Never heard of the Merced area (sure DH has though as he's lived here in CA all his life). Yay for being able to meet your niece. Hope you have a GREAT time! I always enjoy going and visiting family.
Kynslee had her first plane ride at exactly 5 months (to the day). But, DH was traveling with me and made it easier. Kynslee did pretty well. Slept for some of it and ate for the rest. She also comfort nursed a bit but I let her so she wouldn't just cry. We had 2 stop overs though so our flight was longer. OR to CA shouldn't be very long at all. But, lugging everything around is a pain in the airport!!
Sounds fun! Just as a warning, sometimes they make you take a carrier off during take-off/landing, so if you're planning to nurse during that time, don't count on the carrier acting as a cover, lol!!!! I loved flying with Jenny when she was little-little... SO much easier than now!
