Keeping cool? It's not hot enough in Oregon to figure out how to keep cool. hehe.

I've been taking Jenny and Daphne to indoor places instead of outdoor parks... we're setting heat records here, ugh.
Some friends from Utah are house-hunting here starting tomorrow, so they're coming by for dinner and to drop off their chickens  . We finally got our new counters, yay! Oh, and the dog is having ACL reconstruction surgery on her leg this Friday... not so "yay".

Hurray...it's suppose to be 80 degrees today. Welcome Summer to Oregon!
As the saying goes...Summer begins on July 5th in Oregon.

I don't think of the Denver area as hot...but I guess they're trying to change my mind with the heat wave.
It's not setting records here I'm sure, but it is plenty hot.

Daphne needs a bow, whenever I put Terra in something that isn't obviously girlie I put a bow on her so I don't have to get a million boy comments...though you can sometimes STILL get a "How old is he?" that makes me think "REALLY?"

Haha, Jenny needs a bow, too. Her hair has grown in thick, but it still isn't very long yet!
In other news, for those of you who remember my whining about the whole teacher certification drama, I finally got the form I need to get my Professional License. Of course, if they had given it to me sooner, I wouldn't have had to renew my Initial License and waste my money, but at least I will be able to take care of it once and for all.
