Mashed, although I don't think they're on the menu for Thanksgiving.
DH makes the potatoes. Actually, DH makes everything except the dessert - that's my job, but friends are bringing it this year.
When I was a kid, my stepmom always did sweet potatoes and she did them with marshmallows and brown sugar. I STILL wasn't a fan, lol. Come to think of it, I didn't like most of the stuff on our Thanksgiving menu as a kid except for the turkey and the rolls...
Do you have both or just one of them ?? Growing up with usually had both. But, I never was a fan of the sweet potatoes
Who makes them ? It really depends. This year my SIL is doing both the turkey and mashed potatoes. Not sure if anyone is doing sweet potatoes this year or not (fine with me though). I like doing mashed potatoes so I've done them some years.
How are they made ? Growing up the sweet potatoes were always made with the brown sugar and marshmallows.
