I love tattoos. I only have 5 but they are all very special and important to me. I got a big purple bow on my heart when DD was born. It's a bow because she's a gift from god and purple is just the colour that represents her to me. I was going to get one on the other side when this baby was born. Well he/she was born but not how I expected. I didn't see any reason why I still shouldn't get one.
I went right away and it was such a healing process for me. Everytime I look at it I smile and cry. It's a smaller sky blue coloured ribbon. He/she was a gift from god, and it's blue for the sky with little angel wings on the side.
I love your tattoos and love the meaning behind them! I am planning on getting for my lil boy I just recently lost, after my lil girl is born. I can only imagine how much it truely helps with the healing process.
It truly does help (which to many sounds silly because it's just a bit of ink right?) but to have a permanent memory, something that will be with you forever felt very peaceful to me and allowed me to grieve in a healthier way
