So, during my miscarriage this morning, I saved as much as I could as it came out in a plastic container. I am going to plant it in a few weeks once the ground thaws and am going to buy a perennial flowering bush called a Bleeding Heart to plant on top of the remains as a memorial to this little one who was so loved, so wanted and will always, always be remembered. I feel like every spring when the bush begins to push up through the ground, I will remember this baby growing in my womb and when it flowers, I will be reminded of the little heart that would have flowered and flourished in our little family. I am very much looking forward to seeing my sweet flowers each year and am anxious to get this in the ground.

Bleeding hearts are beautiful.
And they grow and spread. What a beautiful remembrance.
