It was a month ago today that we said goodbye to our baby boy. I was 17 weeks pregnant when we found out, though the doctor believes he died at 16 weeks. It was a huge shock as I had no symptoms of miscarriage, I just went in for a regular appointment and there was no heartbeat.

The amazing nurses at the hospital gave us some mementos, which I've set aside in a little box with cards and other gifts we received. They included a little harp-shaped charm that I made into a stitch marker for my knitting projects. It's been a nice way to keep something of "his" near me, and I find knitting has been very therapeutic to me.

This is the stitch marker I made.

I also ordered a couple of necklaces, one with Liam's name and one with our older son's name, from a shop on Etsy. They arrived a week ago and I have been wearing them ever since. It's been wonderful to have something with me at work that reminds me of the boys I love so much The Etsy shop is here.

The necklaces came in a sweet little box.

I wear both of them together.

Those are very sweet. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my little boy ten weeks ago. We had a gender determination u/s at 16 weeks and 6 days and he was fine, went for my routine OB appt two weeks later and he was gone.
