I know I have been absentee from the board so much lately with finishing school and moving this month. I am 50% effaced and 2 cm dialated! I hope there will be a new Canadian baby soon! If you were 2 cm dialated, how much longer were you pregnant?

This was me:
- 2 cm @ 35 weeks and baby was low (engaged)
- 3 cm @ 36 weeks
- 4 cm @ 37 weeks (OB put me off work - thought baby would come fast when it came!)
membranes striped to try to start things b/c of awful lower back/hip (SI joint pain)
- 4 cm @ 38 weeks
no membrane striping b/c X-Mas was in a few days
- 5 cm @ 39 weeks
membranes striped and this time it worked - went into labour that night, was 8 cm upon arriving at hospital 20 hours later & had DS 4 hours after that!

So it can be a while!

YAY! Toby could be here soon. You may still have a little while though.

I can't wait to hear the good news!
