when do you think its safe for a baby to go into the Lake? We are going up to my parents trailer next weekend and its on Lake Huron, do you think I can take Makenna into the water? She's BF so she should be protected from any heebyjeebies right? I used to swim in there all the time when I was a kid and I never got sick, my mom just said something and now I'm worrying about it.

A was 3 months old the first time he went in a lake. July. So maybe not quite 3 months. Anywho. I'm sure she'd be fine. Have you taken her swimming in a pool yet? That has germs, AND chemicals. I'd take her in!! She'll love it!! Wal-mart has the COOLEST baby water holder things. We used them for the boys, they were freaking awesome. Here is a link (it's the US Walmart site, but you can get them here). http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4787051 BEST THINGS EVER for swimming babies!!
